The Best Stories Are True

On the weekend of September 28th, we hosted an intensive writers workshop at Castle Hill Farm in Keswick, Virginia. The workshop brought together aspiring writers for one-on-one tutelage with the acclaimed non-fiction writers Donna M. Lucey and Henry Weincek.

His books include Old Houses, The Hairstons: An American Family in Black and White, and Master of the Mountain: Thomas Jefferson and His Slaves.

Donna Lucey

Donna M. Lucey is a biographer whose books include Archie and Amélie: Love and Madness in the Gilded Age, about bestselling novelist Amélie Rives of Castle Hill, and the award-winning Photographing Montana 1894-1928: The Life and Work of Evelyn Cameron.
